A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE.cITY,ATTORNEY
TO DE~~END THE' CITY OF' CLEARWATER IN THE'
CASE OF FLEET FINANCE, INC. V. SHIRLEY ANN
MARTIN, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 04-10817-8.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant in
a foreclosure action which is the subject matter of the case of
Fleet Finance, Inc. v. Shirley Ann Martin, et al, Circuit Civil
No. 84..10817-8t'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE eITY
COMHISSION OF THE CITY OF CL~ARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
'FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any
and all steps necessary to defend the city o~ Clearwater in the
case of Fleet Finance, Inc. v. Shirley Ann Martin, Montgomery
Ward Company, Inc. and Pinellas County, Florida, and City of
Clearwater, Florida, Circuit civil NQ. 94-10817-8.
2. That'this'Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon it~ adoption.
