A RESOLtrrIOR OF THE CITY CCHtlSSIOH OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ASSES-
SIHG TIlE (MtBRS OF PROPERTY THE COSTS OF
HAYDIG HOWED OR CLBARBD THE OWHBR' S LOT.
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, through the passage of
Ordinance No. 1894 establishing Chapter 95 that for the purpose of
promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the oitizens and

residents of the City of Clearwater, lots, parcels or tracts of land
within the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Pinellas
County, Florida, such as descrihed below should be cleared of weeds,
rubbish, debris and other noxious material; and
WHEREAS, notice pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code of
Ordinances was provided to the owner of each of the lots listed below
that such lot was in violation of Chapter 95 - the Lot Clearing Codej
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code of Ordinanoes,
fOllowing the expiration of ten (10) days from the date of each notice
but not less than fifteen (15) days after such notice a further
hearing was held for the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida,'with notice of such hearing being provided to each property
owner listed below to attend and present evidence relating to why
the lot should not be cleared or mowed by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission pursuant to Section 95.09 of the
Code of Ordinances has authorized each of the lots listed below to
be cleared by the City and the actual costs of clearing or mowing
plus administrative costs, to be assessed against each property
owner.

1. That pursuant to Seotion 95.08 the properties
listed on Exhibit A attaohed to this resolution 'and made a part hereof
after notioe to eaoh property owner were oonsidered at a publio
hearing held Janunry 5, 198~, February 16, 198_, March 15, 1984.
AprJ~ 5, 198~, Hay 3. 198~, Hay 17, 198~. Hay 21, 1984,
with the
question being should eaoh lot be oleared or mowed by the City and
the, costs including administrative costs asoessed against eaoh
property owner on the list; that following the hearing the City
Commission pursuant of Section 95.09 authorize the City to olear or
mow each lot. 2. That pursuant to Section 95.13 of the Code of
Ordinanoes the owner of eaoh lot listed on Exhibit A has been provided
with a notice and opportunity, thirty (30) days, within which to pay
the oosts and administrative charges set forth on Exhibit A but no
payments have been received. 3. That each lot listed on Exhibit
A, having been cleared or mowed by the City, the City Commission
pursuant to Section 95.11 of the Code of Ordinances hereby assesses
a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against each parcel shown
on Exhibit A for the actual costs of mowing or olearing shown on the
Exhibit plus administrative costs. 4. That the City Clerk is hereby
direoted to prepare a notice of lien against each property listed
on Exhibit A and to file t~e same in the Offioe of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas Countt, Florida. 5. That this resolution
shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. PASSED AND
