A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA I APPROVING AND CONCURRING
IN THE FINDINGS OF THE CITY MANAGER AND TRAFFIC
ENGINEER, AUTHORIZING THE SALE or ^ PORTION OF THE
CLEARWATER PARKING SYSTEMt AND DETERMINING THE USE
OF THE PROCEEDS OF SALE.

WHEREAS, the city of Clearwater proposes to Dell Lot 9 of the
Clearwater parking system, . hereinafter more fully described, to the C1ear-
water Redevelopment Agency for the sum of $126,000, and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2799-82 of the City commission, as
amended, provides for the sale or other disposition of assets of the Clear-
water Parking System and the disposition of the proceeds of such sale, and
WHEREAS, the Clearwater Traffic Engineer has found that it is in
the best interest of the parking system that said property be disposed of,
and
WHEREAS, the city Manager has found, in writing, that said
property is no longer necessary in the operation of the'Clearwater Parking
System, and
WHEREAS, the value of the fixed assets of the Clean1ater parklng
System according to the most recent annual audit and operating report is
$2,017,268, and
WHEREAS, the above findings have been reviewed by the Clearwater
City commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO~MISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY
ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida hereby
approves and concurs in the findings of the City Manager and the Traffic
. .~.
Engineer, copies of which arc attached hereto as Exhibits "A" and
"B",
hereby incorporated herein by reference.
2. The sale of Lot 9 of the Clearwater parking System,
more
particularly described as follows:
The former right-of-way of the Atlantic Coast Line
Railroad lying between Block 13 and Block 20 of GOULD &
EWING'S SECOND ADDITION TO CLEARWATER, FI~RIDA,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 1,
Page 52, public Records of Hillsborough County, Florida,
of which Pinellas County was formerly a part~
