WHBREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, through the passago of
Ordinanoe No. '894 establishing Chapter 95 that for the purpose of
promoting the health, 3afety and general welfare of the oitizens and
residents of the City of Clearwater, lots, parcels or traots of land
within the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Pinellas
County, Florida, such as described below should be cleared of weeds,
rubbish, debris and other noxious material, and
WHEREAS, notice pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code of
Ordinances was provided to the owner of each of the lots listed below
that such lot was in violation of Chapter 95 - the Lot Clearing Code;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 95.07 of the Code of Ordin~nces,
following the expiration of ten ('0) days from the date of eaoh notioe.
but not less than fifteen (15) days after such notioe a further
hearing was held for the City Commission of the City of Cloarwaterr
Florida, with notice of such hearing baing provided to eaoh property
owner listed below to attend and present evidenoe relating to why
the lot should not be oleared or mowed by tho City, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission pursuant to Section 95.09 of the'
Code of Ordinances has authorized each of the lots listed below to
be cleared by the City and the aotual c03tS of Clearing or mowing
plus administrative costs, to be assessed against eaoh property
owner.

1. That pursuant to Seotion 95.08 the properties
listed on Ex~lbit A attaohed to this resolution and made a part hereof

after notioe to each property owner were oonsidered at a publio
hearing held ~r 17, 1983, ~r 15. 1983. and January 20.

the City nnd tho oosts inoluding administrative oosts asssased against
eaoh property owner on the list; that following the hearing the City
Coumission purau~nt of Seotion 95.09 authorize the City to olear or
mow eaoh lot.
2. That pursuant to Seotion 95.13 of the Code of
Ordinanoes the owner of eaoh lot listed on Exhibit A has been provided
with a notice and opportunity, thirty (30) days, within which to pay
the oosts nnd administrative oharges set forth .on Exhibit A but no
payments have been reoeived.
