A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND JACK L. KATCHUK, A POLICE OFFICER,
IN COUNTERCLAIMS FILED BY DEFENDANTS IN THE
CASE OF JACK L. KATCHUK V. SANDRA LEE JONES,
ET VIR, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 84-2241-14.
WHEREAS, Jack L. Katchuk, a police officer employed by the
City of Clearwater, has been made a counterdefendant in an action
for damages brought by Sandra Lee Jones, et vir, Defendants in
the case of Jack L. Katchuk v. Sandra Lee Jones, et vir, Circuit
Civil No. 84-2241-14;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSIN OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any
and all steps necessary to defend Jack Is. Katchuk, a Clearwater
police officer, in counterclaims filed by Defendants in the
case of Jack L. Katchuk v. Sandra Lee Jones, et vir, circuit
civil No. 84-2241-14.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
