A RESOLUTION AUTIIORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND ARMENER WHITE AND THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER IN THE CASE OF PROGRESSIVE AMERICAN
INSURANCE COMPANY, ET AL V. Ar.MENER WHITE AND
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, IN COUNTY COURT, CASE NO.
84-1109-42.

WHEREAS, Armener White, a City employees, and the City of
Clearwater have been made defendants in an action for damages
which is the subject matter of the case of Progressive American
Insurance company, et al v. Armener White and the City of Clear-
water. in County Court, Case No. 84-1109-42;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take' any
and all steps necessary to defend Armener White and the City of
Clearwater in the case of Progressive American Insurance Company
and Nancy Judah v. Armener White and the City of Clearwater, in

County Court, Case No. 84-1109-42.
2. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
