A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND'THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE
OF THE MILLS DEVELOPMENT GROUP OF FLORIDA,
INC. V. THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 84-1638~15.
WHEREAS,' the City of Clearwater has been made a defendant
in an action for declaratory and injunctive relief and damages,
which is the subject matter of the case of The Mills Development
Group of Florida, Inc. v.The City of Clearwater, Florida, Circuit
Civil No. 84-1638-15;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and
all steps necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case
of The Mills Development Group of Florida, Inc. v. The City of
Clearwater, Florida, Circuit civil No. b4-1638-15.
2. 'l'hat this Resolution shall become nffective immediately
upon its passage.
