A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE
OF CHERZEM rNVE~TMENT PROGRAM I, LTD, ET AL
V. CITY OF CLEARWATER, CIRCUIT ,CIVIL NO.
83-15905-7.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been made a party
defandant in an action for declaratory judgment, which is
the subject matter of the case of Cheezem Investment Program
I, Ltd., et al v. City of Clearwater, Circuit civil No.
83-15905-7; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney proposed to utilize the services
of Charles L. Siemon of Chicago to associate in this case
because of its importance to future development on Sand Key;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
.IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:

That the City Attorney is authorized to utilize the
services of Charles L. Siemon, Esquire.
2. That the City Attorney, through Charles L. Siemon,
Esq., is hereby authorized to take any and all st~ps necessary.
to defend the city of Clearwater in th~ case of Cheezem Invest-
ment Program I, Ltd., et a1 v. City of Clearwater, Circuit
Civil No. 83-15905-7.
3. That this Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
