WHEREAS. the City Commission previously enacted Resolution

No. 79-39 on May 3. 1979. and Resolution No. 79-76 on

September 6. 1979. amending Resolution No. 79-39. establishing
a schedule of fees and charges necessary to defray the cost of
providing the processing and issuance of .a series of permits

Clearwater Police Department; and

WHEREAS, it has now come to the actention of the City Commission
that on November 7. 1983, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement

increased the fingerprint card processing fee, which is charged the
City, from $2.00 to $5.00, and

WHEREAS. n need exists to establish a schedule of rates and charges
applicable to each such item whi~h is more reflective of the actual

costs and labor spent recrieving and reproducing each item; and

( schedule reflect these additional costs; and
