A. SCOPE OF COVERAGE
In the event of a leak in the FLlNTLASTIC Roof Membrane and/or FLlNTLASTIC Base Flashing materials caused solely by ordinary wear of the elements
or manufacturing defect, and not caused completely or partially by any of the causes hereinafter excluded from coverage, GS or its authorized agent will
repair or replace, at it's option, the FLlNTLASTIC Roof Membrane and or FLlNTLASTIC Base Flashings and GS Roof Insulation including labor and
materials up to a maximum liability overthe term of this warranty of $80.00 per square forthe FLlNTLASTrC Roofing Membrane, and $120.00 per square
when insulated with GS Roof Insulation. GS's maximum liability shall be decreased by 14.29% of the original liability per year after the firstfive years from
date of completion. This warrant does not cover roblems caused b im ro er a lication, defective workmanshi or use for ur oses other than for
which it is recommen e an ISC alms an la I t or suc causes.
This warranty does not cover the following items: Roof insulation other than GS brand, the underlying roof deck, vapor retarder, metal flashings, drains,
expansion jOints, skylights, vents, plastic type flashings or optional reflective, decorative or fire-resistant coatings and surfacings.
GS shall be discharged of all further obligation upon occurance of any of the following events: (a) expiration of the term of this warranty, (b) whenever the
total value of all repairs furnished hereunder (based on the cost to GS of all such labor and materials) equal GS's then maximum liability decreased as
provided herein, or (c) upon violation of any of the terms and conditions of this warranty.
B, EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE
1. Damage caused directly or indirectly by naturaldisasters such as, but not limited to, cyclones, tornados or other winds exceeding Force 7 on the
Beaufort Scale, lightning, earthquakes. hail or ftre
2. Physical damage resulting from falling objects, maintenanr.e work or vandalism.
3. Damage resulting from settlement, deflection or other movement of the roof deck, walls, foundations or any other part of the structure, or materials
underlying the FLlNTLASTIC Roof Membrane.
4. Damage to, or failure of the FLlNTLASTIC Roof Membrane and FLlNTLASTIC Base Flashings caused or contributed to by:
a Infiltration or condensation of moisture in, through or around the walls, copings, building structure or underlying or surrounding materials; or
b Traffic of any nature or use of the roof surface as a storage area, walking or recreational surface or for any other Similar purpose; or
c Movement or deterioration of metal work used in conjunction with the FL1NTLASTIC Roof Membrane; or
d Solid or liquid deposits of any harmful substance; or
e Building design or construction; or
f Lack of positive drainage.
C. UNAPPROVED REPAIRS, ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS
All repairs must have the prior written approval of GS's Claims Service Department. In the event that the Owner, without having first obtained the written
consent of GS, shall hereafter make or permit any repairs, alterations or additions to the Roof Membrane or place any additional structures thereon (such
as, but not limited to, equipment or framework used in connection with air conditioning units, televiSion and radiO antennae, signs and water towers), or
change the use of the building to a use not sanctioned by GS, this Warranty shall immediately become VOid and of no further effect.GS agrees to respond
promptly and in reasonable manner whenever its consent to the foregoing repairs, alterations, additions or additional structures IS requested.
D, NOTICE OF CLAIM
To require GS to perform any obligation under this warranty, you must, within thirty \30) days of discovery of the alleged defect to which the claim relates,
and at your own expense, send written notification of such defect, together with proo of purchase, certified mail, to the address provided below. This notice
must include a general description of the alleged defect. Within thirty 130) days after written notice of the alleged defect has been received by GS, a GS
representative may Investigate the claim. You must allow reasonable investigation of the alleged defective product and must supply samples that
adequately demonstrate the allec'Jd problem for testing by GS as part of the claim investigation. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE CONDITION PRECEDENT TO
THE RIGHT TO BRING CLAIM.LJpon being permittea such opportunity to investigate, BS will then promptly perform any obligaliDn imposed by this
warranty as a result of such tnvestlgatlon.
NOTE: GS will not be liable for any expenditure you may incur in replacing or repairing FLlNTLASTIC which is incurred prior to written acknowledgment of

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THIS WARRANTY IS ISSUED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTIBILlTY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES ON THE PART OF GS.IN NO
EVENT SHALL GS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR FOR DAMAGES TO THE BUILDING OR ITS CONTENTS.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINS ALL OF THE PROVISIONS OF YOUR REMEDIES FROM GS. GS's LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY, WHETHER ANY CLAIM AGAINST IT IS BASED UPON STRICT LIABILITY, NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF
WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER THEORY OR CAUSE OF ACTION. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CANNOT BE CHANGED OR ALTERED IN ANY WAY
WITHOUT THE EXPRESS, WRITTEN CONSENT OF GS ROOFING PRODUCTS COMPANY
STATE LAW
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty or the exclusion of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply. You may have legal rights other than those granted by this warranty which rights vary from state to state.
WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY
Owner may transfer the protection afforded by this Warranty to a third party with the written approval of GS, subject to all its terms and conditions, provided
the use to which said third party puts the structure on the roof is not one prohibited by GS In its current FLlNTLASTIC Modified Bitumen Roof Systems
SpeCification Catalog.
OWNER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Building owner must fill out, sign, and return the designated copy of this limited Warranty to GS in order to bring it into full force and effect. Owner
acknowledges that the receipt and effectiveness of this warranty is part of the conSideration for the purchase of roof materials from GS. Owner shall return
the completed limited Warranty to the address proVided under Section D, NOTICE OF CLAIM.
EFFECTIVE DATE
This limited warranty certificate applies to Fltntlastic Modified Bitumen roof products sold on or after November 1, 1989.

TEN YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Benchmark Roofing, Inc. hereby warrants the owner of the building described below, that under and
subject to the terms, conditions and limitations set forth herein, the installed roofing membranes will
remain water tight to the extent of the coverage provided below, for a period of ten years provided said
materials withstand ordinary wear of the elements.

A. SCOPE OF COVERAGE
In the event of a leak in the immediate area of work performed, caused by workmanship and not caused
completely or partially by any of the causes hereinafter excluded from coverage, Benchmark Roofing, Inc. or
its authorized agent will repair or replace, at its option, the roofing membranes. This warranty does not cover
problems caused by material defects or failure of materials to withstand ordinary wear of the elements.
B, EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE
1. Leakage or damage caused directly or indirectly by natural disasters such as, but not limited to,
hurricanes, tornados, lightning, hail, or fire.
2. Physical damage resulting from falling objects, vandalism, or maintenance work.
3. Leakage or damage resulting from settlement, deflection or other movement of the roof deck, walls,
foundation or any other part of the structure or materials underlying the roofing membranes.
4. Leakage or damage caused or contributed to by:
a, Infiltration or condensation of moisture in, through or around walls, coping or building structure;
or
b. Traffic of any nature on the roof surface; or
c, Solid or liquid deposits of any harmful substances; or
d, Building design or construction; or
e. Lack of positive drainage.
f. Unapproved repairs, alterations, additions or maintenance.
C. NOTICE OF CLAIM
To require Benchmark Roofing, Inc. to perform any of the obligations under this warranty, you must within 30
days of discovery of the alleged defect, and at your own expense, send written notification of such defect
and provide a copy of the authorized Warranty. Within thirty days of receipt of the notification by Benchmark
Roofing, Inc, a representative may inspect the claim. This is an absolute condition precedent to the right to
bring claim.
D, LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
This warranty is issued in lieu of all other guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. In no event shall
Benchmark be liable for any consequential damages or for damages to the building or its contents.
E. WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY
Original owner may transfer the protection afforded by this Warranty to a new owner with the written approval
of Benchmark Roofing, Inc. and payment of appropriate documentation fee,
