EXTENT ION TO
BOND COUNSEL RETAINER AGREEMENT

TillS AGREEMENT is made on the t ~ ~ day of ~ ' 1998, by and
between, the CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR~ A TER, FLORIDA
(the "City") and the law firm of BRYANT, MILLER AND OLIVE, P.A.,
TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA ("Bond Counsel").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City wishes to retain a firm to serve as Bond Counsel to the City in
connection with various bond issues and other matters; and
WHEREAS, the City and Bond Counsel have previously entered into a Bond Counsel
Retainer Agreement dated as of May 2, 1995 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the City and Bond Counsel wish to extend the term of the Agreement
for a renewal of one year;
NOW THEREFO~, in consideration of the premises and mutual covenants
contained herein and in the Agreement, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
SECTION 1. Bond Counsel is hereby authorized to continue to provide Bond
Counsel services as described in the Agreement and for the professional fees described in the
Agreement.
SECTION 2. The term of the agreement is hereby extended for one year and may
be extended an additional year upon written agreement by the City,
SECTION 3. All other terms of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
