FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT

This First Amendment made this ~ day of ~' 1999 by and between City of Clearwater, P.O.
Box 4748, Clearwater, Florida (City) and Beth Rawlins, Inc., 803 Harbor Drive, Belleair Beach, Florida, 337886
(Consultant).
WHEREAS, City and Consultant entered into a Consulting Services Agreement on March 9, 1999 to
provide fundraising services.
Whereas, City and Consultant agree to amend that agreement as stated therein.
Now therefore, in consideration of the mutual covenants to provisions contained herein, the parties agree as
follows:
1. Paragraph 4, Compensation, shall be increased by $5,000 for a total sum not to exceed $20,000.
Consultant's total compensation shall include all fundraising services and any additional services necessary to
coordinate sponsor activities and assure vendor/sponsor satisfaction for the Transforming Local Government
Conference. Consultant's daily rate for conference services shall not exceed $300 per day and must be approved in
writing and in advance by City's Project Manager.
2. Exhibit A shall be amended to allow Consultant to receive a 10% commission on funds received
after February 25,1999 by the City for the Transforming Local Government Conference, up to a maximum of
$15,000 for fundraising services only.
3. All other terms and conditions in the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
