One Year Extension to
Financial Advisor Service Agreement
THIS AGREEMENT made this /..3"tL day of ~ ' 2001
by and between the City of Clearwater, P.O. Box 4748, Clearwat , Florida 33758, hereinafter
referred to as the "City", party of the first part, and Banc of America Securities, LLC, 400
North Ashley Drive, Second Floor, M.S. FLI-0I0-02-08, Tampa, Florida 33602, herein after
referred to as the "Financial Advisor", party of the second part;
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City and Financial Advisor have previously entered into a Financial
Advisor Service Agreement dated June 21, 2000, for a one-year period (the "Agreement").
Said Agreement had two (2) one year renewals; and
WHEREAS, the City and Financial Advisor wish to extend the term of the
Agreement for a renewal of the first renewal period, which shall extend the term of the
Agreement to J une.zn2002; and
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants
contained herein and in the Agreement, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
SECTION 1: Financial Advisor is hereby authorized to continue to provide Financial
Advisor services as described in the Agreement and for the professional fees described in the
Agreement.
SECTION 2. The term of the agreement is hereby extended for one year beginning
June 22, 2001 and terminating June 21, 2002.
SECTION 3. All other terms of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and Financial Advisor have executed this
Agreement as of the date first written above.
