Box 2946 Clearwater, Florida 33517 CERTIFIED MAIL RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED Reference: Lots 7, 8, and the East 1/3 of Lot 9, Block 1, W. F. Hughey's Sub. 1172 Brownell Street Dear Mr. Rogero: In accordance with Section 133.09 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, I have reviewed your request for a temporary sidewalk installa- tion waiver. The above-cited property does not meet the requirements as set forth in the aforementioned Code, paragraph (e) because an existing sidewalk is located within 200 feet of the property. Therefore, I cannot grant a temporary waiver of the sidewalk installation requirement on the above-cited property and your request is denied. - cc: Elizabeth S. Gity Manager FROM: Keith Crawford, Traffic Engineering Director COPIES: Ed Bethel, Building Dept. Director SUBJECT: Sidewalk Waiver: 1172 Brownell Street ,. r- , i .~ DATE: October 8, 1984 I have reviewed the above location on site and found that there is a sidewalk on the same side of Brownell Street 110' away from this property. Brownell Street is very narrow and a sidewalk, even for the short distance of this property, would aide in keeping pedestrians out of the street. The connection of this sidewalk to the one 110' away would require very little construction due to driveways serving the church located on this site. Since this location does not qualify under the terms of the Ordinance it is my recommendation that the sidewalk be constructed. KC/sn ~(original Application)
