FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT - TO EXTEND ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS

THIS FIRST AMENDMENT is made and entered into this ~ day of
t!k-u. ~u/ ,1999, by and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
(hereinafter referred to as the ("CITY"), and ALCALDE AND FAY (hereinafter referred to
as the "SERVICE PROVIDER").
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the CITY and SERVICE PROVIDER entered into a one-year
agreement on September 17, 1998, for legislative and administrative matters at the
federal level, which expired September 16, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the CITY and SERVICE PROVIDER agree to extend that agreement
on a month-to-month basis until the CITY completes its selection process for these
services.
NOW THEREFORE, and in consideration of the promises and the mutual
covenants herein contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. CITY agrees to pay SERVICE PROVIDER Five Thousand and no/100
(5,000.00) Dollars per month for fees, and an additional Five Hundred Eighty-Three
($583.00) Dollars per month for out-of-pocket expenses as determined by the City
Manager.
2. All other terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
