1. Call to Order
The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.
2. Approval of Minutes
2.1 Approve the May 12, 2026, NAHAB Meeting Minutes.
Board Member Linda Byars moved to approve the minutes of the May
12, 2026 Neighborhood and Affordable Housing Advisory Board
meeting minutes as submitted in written summation. The motion was
duly seconded and carried unanimously.
3. Citizens to be Heard Regarding Items Not on the Agenda: None
4. New Business Items
4.1 Recommend City Council approval of the adoption of the City of Clearwater's
FY2026/2027 Annual Action Plan, which is the second Action Plan of the
2025/2026 - 2029/2030 Consolidated Plan, to implement the goals and
objectives set forth in the Consolidated Plan and authorize the appropriate
officials to enter into agreements with HUD and organizations approved for
funding, together with authorization to execute administrative adjustments to
same as needed.
Economic Development and Housing Division Manager Dylan Mayeux
presented a PowerPoint on an overview of the federal funding Strategic
Plan, and the Consolidated Plan before presenting the FY202612027
Annual Action Plan for recommendation of City Council approval.
Board Member Frank Cornier moved to approve the recommendation of
City Council approval of the FY2026/2027 Annual Action Plan. The
motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
5. Director's Report
Mr. Mayeux shared a brief overview of how to view the upcoming agenda,
items, and where the public can access any documents for upcoming
meetings.
6. Board Members to be Heard
Board Member Linda Byars thanked Mr. Mayeux for his presentations.
