Call to Order. Chair Rector called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. 2. New Business Items 2.1 ID#26-0515 Approve a date change to June 6, 2026, for The Florida Orchestra Symphony by the Sea Concert. CRA Coordinator Brian Ulbricht presented the proposed date change to June 6, 2026, for The Florida Orchestra Symphony by the Sea Concert. Member Mannino thanked The Florida Orchestra for their flexibility regarding the date change. Member Allbritton moved to approve the date change to June 6, 2026, for The Florida Orchestra Symphony by the Sea Concert. The motion was seconded. Upon roll call, the vote was: Ayes: Vice Chair Cotton, Member Allbritton, Member Teixeira, Member Mannino, Member Tatlici 2.2 ID#26-0520 Approve a location change for the May 9, 2026 Market Marie from Coachman Park to Cleveland Street from Fort Harrison to East Avenue. CRA Specialist Marilyn Browne presented the proposed location change for the May 9, 2026, Market Marie event from Coachman Park to Cleveland Street (Fort Harrison to East Avenue). Member Mannino moved to approve the location change for the May 9, 2026, Market Marie event. The motion was seconded. Upon roll call, the vote was: Ayes: Vice Chair Cotton, Member Allbritton, Member Teixeira, Member Mannino, Member Tatlici 2.3 ID#26-0521 Ukulele Festival in the District 2026 Event Report CRA Division Manager Vickie Shire introduced Robert Wilde from the Ukulele Festival to present the event report. Member Teixeira asked whether Placer.ai is capable of breaking down event attendance by time. CRA Division Manager Shire confirmed that Placer.ai is capable of providing attendance breakdowns by time and stated a report will be provided to the board at a future date. Chair Rector stated the event appeared well attended and noted the potential for additional smaller music events at Coachman Park. 3. Director's Report. 4.1 ID#26-0522 Director's Report for May 2026 CRA Director Jesus Nino presented the report. Member Tatlici asked about parking during Country Thunder Florida. Assistant City Manager Slaughter stated the parking plan for Country Thunder Florida aligns with other Targe -scale events at The Sound. Chair Rector asked about the expected capacity for Country Thunder Florida. Assistant City Manager Slaughter stated the expected attendance is approximately 8,000. Member Teixeira commented that attendance at the Unimex Cinco de Mayo event appeared higher this year. Chair Rector noted that Telemundo and event sponsors likely contributed to increased attendance. Board members expressed appreciation for staff efforts. 4. Board Members to be Heard Member Allbritton asked about the absence of the April 20, 2026, minutes. Assistant CRA Director Anne Lopez stated the minutes will be available for approval at the May 18, 2026, DDB Special Meeting. 5. Adjournment.
