This First Amendment to Residential Exterior Improvement Grant Agreement (this "First
Amendment") is made and entered into this -144-day of M , 2026 by and between
THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, a public body corporate and politic of the State of Florida created pursuant to Part III,
Chapter 163, Florida Statutes (the "Agency"), and ANNIE SHAW, an individual (the "Applicant")
(collectively, the Agency and the Applicant are the "Parties").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into that certain Residential Improvement Grant
Agreement dated November 25, 2025 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, during the course of construction, unforeseen deterioration was discovered at
the fascia and soffit, requiring the replacement of rotted wood and associated painting; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to reflect the revised scope of work
and associated costs, including additional funding in the amount of two thousand five hundred
dollars and 00/100 cents ($2,500.00) thereby increasing the total grant award to twenty-one
thousand dollars and 00/100 cents ($21,000.00).
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained
herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt whereof being
hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows:
1. 'Recitals. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein and made
a part of this. First Amendment. �.
2. Amendment to Amount of Grant Funds. The Agreement is hereby amended to reflect the
increase in the Grant Funds by two thousand five hundred dollars and 00/100 cents ($2,500.00)
for a total new amount of Grant Funds of twenty-one thousand dollars and 00/100 cents
($21,000.00).
3. Amendment to Scope of Work. The Agreement is hereby revised to reflect the revised scope
of work as detailed in Exhibit "A".
4. In the event of conflict or ambiguity between the terms and provisions of this First Amendment
and the Agreement, the term and provisions of this First Amendment shall control to the extent
of any such conflict or ambiguity.
5. All sections of the Agreement not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.
