June 14, 1994 Ms. Cyndie Goudeau City of Clearwater 112 S. Osceola Ave. Clwtr., FL 34616 Dear Ms. Goudeau: In February of this year, The Research Network, a public opinion polling and data analysis company, conducted a survey of customers in our franchise area. Attached is a copy of that survey with a brief explanation, by Dr. Gertz, of the methodology used. Subscribers were asked: 1. How was Vision Cable of Pinellas' overall performance? 2. Were they satisfied with their cable service and would they keep the same company? or, satisfied but would make some changes? or, Preferred to replace present company? The results from these two questions were combined to create an index of overall performance on a scale of 0 to 100, which were then compared to the results of the national survey. Our overall performance rating in Pinellas was 80, twenty-one points above the national average, and significantly higher than the national trend. When our customers were asked HOW MUCH THEY GET IN RETURN FOR THEIR MONEY FROM CABLE SERVICES WE PROVIDE, we came in at 73, twenty points above the national survey for Basic Service, which is statistically significant. When comparing Premium Channels, we came in at 51, or fourteen points above the national average. For pay-per-View, we were at 50, or sixteen points above the national average. I thought you would like to know how we stacked up to other systems around the country. THE ENTERTAINMENT PEOPLE J7~OO/ (II) ~........
