Sincerely, VISION CABLE OF PINELLAS, INC. ~ ,~ I I ANTICIPATED OUESTIONS AND ANSWERS REGARDIRG CHARGING FOR REMOTES Q. Why have you decided not to rent remotes anymore? A. Many of our customers have expressed concern that they need three remote controls, one for their cable box, one for the television and one for their VCR. There are so many different universal remotes available today that will control all of these things in one remote that our remote no longer meets the needs of our customers. And it would be impossible for us to stock all the different kinds of remotes that are available. Q. What kind of remote will work with your converter box? A. Almost all of the popular universal remotes available today will work with our Jerrold converters which is manufactured by General Instruments, but, just to make sure, write down the model number on the bottom of your converter and take it along with you when you decide to purchase a universal remote. Q. Where can I buy a universal remote? A. Almost any electronic store that sells VCR's and televisions handles universal remotes. Q. Does Vision Cable provide a remote control? A. Yes, we sell a Jerrold remote that works with our converter and any remote control television. It does not work on VCR's. The cost of our remote is $11.35 plus tax. Q. What does Vision Cable's remote do? A. The Jerrold remote will control the converter on and off, the channels, favorite channel, last channel recall and parental control. If you have a remote control television, our remote will control the television on and off, volume and mute functions. It will not work on VCR'~. Q. What happens if the remote I am renting for 6 cents a month breaks? Will Vision Cable replace it? A. We no longer rent remotes for 6 cents a month. If your remote breaks, you could either purchase a Jerrold remote from us at $11.35 plus tax or you may buy your own universal remote. Q. I would like to buy one of your remotes, how much are they? A. Our remote is $11.35 plus tax and you can buy one in our Customer service Lobby.
