At a previous meeting, a question was raised regarding the speed limit on Pennsylvania Avenue. It was noted the speed limit on Pennsylvania Avenue has been reduced from 25 mph to 15
mph. The average daily traffic count is 927 vehicles with no unusual traffic patterns. City Engineer Rich Baier noted the driveway and entrance road to the North Greenwood Apartments
is on private property. The City cannot install speed bumps or other traffic control devices on the property.
Identification stickers on resident’s vehicles were discussed.
Reverend Graham suggested a “Phase 2” meeting schedule to be discussed at the next meeting. It appears Monday nights are not the best day of the week for this task team to meet.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 14, 1996 at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Center, 1201 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Clearwater, Florida.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
