AVENUE BOUNDED ON THE SOUTH SIDE BY THE
NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF GULF-TO-BAY
BOULEVARD, ON THE WEST SIDE BY METES AND
BOUND TRACT 14/07 OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 295,

SAID SECTION AND ON THE NORTH SIDE BY THE
EXTENDED NORTH LOT LINE OF LOT B, BLOCK 8,
BAYVIEW CITY SUBDIVISION, SUBJECT TO RETAINING
THE NORTHERLY 10 FEET AS A SIDEWALK, DRAINAGE

WHEREAS, Conoco, Inc., owner of real property located in the City of Clearwater,
has requested that the City vacate the right-of-way as depicted in Exhibit A attached
hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said right-of-way is not necessary for
- municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the general public
that the same be vacated; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following:
That portion of Bayview Avenue bounded on the south side by the north
right-of-way line of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, on the west side by metes and
bound tract 14/07 of Section 17, Township 295, Range 16E, on the east
side by the east line of said section and on the north side by the extended
north lot line of Lot B, Block 8, Bay View City Subdivision as recorded in
Plat Book 9, Page 43 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida
is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims and
releases all of its right, title and interest thereto, except that the City of Clearw~ter hereby
retains the Northerly 10 feet of the depicted property in Exhibit A for the install~~ion and
maintenance of any and all sidewalk and public utilities thereon. . ...... ,
Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public records of
