OF LOT 2, FLORADEL SUBDIVISION, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 1278 SEDEEVA CIRCLE NORTH, TOGETHER
WITH THE RIGHT OF WAY OF BETTY LANE, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE

Section 2 The provIsions of this ordInance are found and determined to be conSistent
With the Crty of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan The City CouncIl hereby accepts the dedication
of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have heretofore
been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property The City Engineer, the City Clerk
and the Planmng Director are directed to Include and show the property described herein upon the
official maps and records of the City
Section 3 This ordmance shall take effect Immediately upon adoption The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, Including the map attached hereto, With the Clerk of the
CirCUit Court and With the County Administrator of Plnellas County, Florida, WIthin 7 days after

SUMMARY:
ThIS voluntary annexation petitIOn mvolves a 0 278-acre property conslstmg of one parcel of land occupied by a
smgle-famIly dwelling and 0 19-acres of abuttmg Betty Lane nght of way It IS located on the northwest corner of
Sedeeva Circle North and Betty Lane The applicant IS requestmg thIS annexatIOn m order to receive solid waste
service from the City The property IS located wlthm the Clearwater ServIce Area and IS contiguous to eXIsting CIty
boundanes to the north It IS proposed that the property be assIgned a Future Land Use Plan designatIOn of
ReSidential Urban (RU) and a zomng category of Low MedIUm DenSIty ReSidential (LMDR)
The Plannmg Department determmed that the proposed annexation IS conSistent With the provIsions of Commumty
Development Code SectIOn 4-604 F and Pmellas County Ordmance No 00-63 as follows
. SanItary sewer servIce IS not currently available m the area CollectIOn of solid waste WIll be prOVIded by the
City of Clearwater The property IS located wIthm Police Dlstnct II and servIce Will be admmlstered through
the dIstrICt headquarters located at 645 PIerce Street FIre and emergency medIcal services WIll be prOVIded to
thiS property by StatIon #51 located at 1720 Overbrook Avenue The CIty has adequate capaCIty to serve thIS
property With solid waste, police, fire and EMS servIce The proposed annexatIOn will not have an adverse
effect on public facilIties and theIr levels of service, and

ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF SEDEEVA CIRCLE NORTH AND
BETTY LANE, CONSISTING OF LOT 1 AND THE EAST 40 FEET
OF LOT 2, FLORADEL SUBDIVISION, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 1278 SEDEEVA CIRCLE NORTH, TOGETHER
WITH THE RIGHT OF WAY OF BETTY LANE, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION,
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
