Application and Submission Requirements
Please submit 15 copies of the attached annexation petition and the follDwlng supplemental
Information
· A signed and sworn disclosure of Interest statement
· If the property IS not a platted lot of record, a current survey prepared within the mDst recent
twelve months that Identifies the dimensions, area and location of the property prepared, signed
and sealed by a land surveyor currently regIstered In the State of Flonda
· Proof of ownershIp In the form of a copy of the deed, title Insurance polley, or other Instrument
demonstrating ownership (only 2 copies required)
· If development IS to be initiated pnor tD the effective date of the annexation and where the
proposed development IS for a use other than a detached dwelling, then requIsite site plans, plat,
and englneenng plans shall be submitted at the time the petition form IS filed
· Terms of a proposed agreement to annex, If any
· If the proposed annexation requires a change In the land use classification and zoning category
assigned to the property, a Justification for such change must be submitted In wntlng If the
requested zoning IS not consistent wIth Clearwater's Comprehensive Land Use Plan, the applicant
will be required to file a companion application to amend the Land Use Plan

· In determining whether to annex a particular parcel of property, the City shall consider the extent
to which
. The proposed annexation Will Impact City services
· The proposed annexation IS consistent with the Comprehensive Plan
· The proposed annexation requires a change In the land use classification and zomng category
assigned to the property and the Justification for such change
· The proposed annexation exceeds the acreage threshold established by the County Planning
Council, thereby requIring revIew and determmatlon regarding the City'S ability to serve
. The propDsed or eXisting development, If any, IS consistent with City regulations
· The terms of a proposed annexation agreement, If any, promotes the City's Comprehensive Plan

· All structures and Improvements which are erected upon said property subsequent tD the date of
this petition for annexation shall comply with all applicable City of Clearwater regulations and
ordinances as set forth In the City Code of Ordinances,

Pursuant to Section 6(2) of the County Ordinance No. 00-63, the City of Clearwater is hereby
notifying the Pinellas Planning Council of its receipt of a new application for voluntary
annexation of property located at 1751 EI Trinidad Drive East (ANX2007-04011) into its
jurisdiction. The subject property is located within the City of Clearwater Planning Area and
upon annexation will be served by City of Clearwater sewer and solid waste service (where
available). The proposed annexations are consistent with Florida law regarding municipal
annexations through their adjacency with existing city boundaries and their compactness in
concentration. A copy of the petition and disclosure statement are enclosed.

FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY
BY ZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE EAST SIDE OF EL TRINIDAD DRIVE EAST,
APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET SOUTH FROM THE
INTERSECTION OF EL TRINIDAD DRIVE EAST AND
TERRACE DRIVE, CONSISTING OF LOT 11 LESS AND
EXCEPT THE EASTERLY 32 FEET THEREOF, BLOCK 1,
VIRGINIA GROVE TERRACE, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 1751 EL TRINIDAD DRIVE EAST UPON
ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS
LOW MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LMDR);
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the assignment of a zoning district classification as set forth in this
ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the'
City's comprehensive plan; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property located in Pinellas County, Florida, is
hereby zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of Clea/Water, and the zoning
atlas of the City is amended, as follows:

Lot 11, less and except the easterly 32 feet thereof,

Section 2. The City Engineer is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in
accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent
upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 7824-07.
