1. For multifamily and nonresidential properties an automatic irrigation systam providing
oornplete water coverage for all required and other landscaping materials shall be provided and
maintained 8S a fully functioning system in order to preserve the landscaping In a healthy
growing condition.
2, If a single-family dwelling is requIred to Install landscaping and an Irrigation system is not
installed to maintain that landscaping, then a hose bib shall be installed a maximum of 50 feet
from the required landscaping.
3, All Irrigation systems connected to the public potable water supply system shall include a
backflow preventaf' at the service connection.
4. All irrigation systems shall be installed so as to minimize spray upon any impervious surface.
such as sidewalks and paved areas.
5, All irrigation systems shall include a ratn sensor/shut off device to avoid irrigation durtng
periods of sufficient rainfall.
6. Underground irrigation shall not be installed within the drtplines of existing trees unless root
protection measures are provided,
7. If available, reclaimed watar shall be used for irrigation purposes.
Generel Notes:
1. All removal of protected trees and palms shall be on the basis of an inch for inch
replacement,
2, All trees, shrubs and ground cover shall be Florida Grade #1. All sod shall be drought tolerant
varieties.
3. All parking spaces are to adhere to the requirements of the City of Clearwataf'.
4. Additional Plnellas County and FOOT rfght of way permits will be required for proposed
construction wIthln the right rNi ways of Belcher Roed, and NE Coachr,'" (S.R. 590).
