Roll Call
Present 6 - Chair Bryan Voliton, Board Member Jonathan Barnes, Board Member
Jerri Menaul, Board Member Eric Seiler, Board Member Gregory Byrd,
and Board Member Lisa Bilz
Also Present—Amber Brice —Arts & Cultural Affairs Manager, Danielle DeBois —City

1. Call To Order
The meeting was called to order at 1:59 p.m.
2. Approval of Minutes
2.1 Approve the minutes of the September 12, 2024 Public Art & Design Board
Meeting.
Member Barnes moved to approve the minutes of the September 12,
2024 Public Art and Design Advisory Board meeting as submitted in
written summation. The motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimously.
3. Citizens to be Heard Regarding Items Not on the Agenda
4. New Business Items
4.1 Select and approve design for Coachman Park mural wall
Arts and Cultural Affair Manager Amber Brice said the top three artists to
answer the call for the Coachman Park mural wall were selected for the
Board to select from.
Member Byrd moved to select the first option with seahorses of the
three potential designs. The motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimously.
4.2 Clearwater Marina Walk Sculpture Discussion and Selection
Mr. Brice said there are six potential designs for review and discussion
for the Board to narrow to the top three selections and provide feedback
for design submissions. Discussion ensued and Eileen, Cecelia, and Heath
were selected as the top contenders.
4.3 Dockmasters Office Mural Update
Ms. Brice said the dockmasters mural should be completed the following
weekend after earlier weather delays.

4.4 Mercado Art Update
Ms. Brice said the artist for the Mercado wall would be here on January 15,
2025 and the art installation would be completed mid-February.
4.5 Coachman Mural Wall Design - Keep or Change Jenna Morello Design
Ms. Brice said the artist has provided two options.
Member Barnes moved to select the original option. The motion was
duly seconded and carried unanimously.
5. Old Business Items
In response to discussion, Ms. Brice said there are no plans for
the Seminole Street boat docks to receive any art installations.
