AGREEMENT
This First Amendment to Residential Exterior Im rovement Grant Agreement (this "First
Amendment") is made and entered into this 1' day of. .1 , 2025 by and between
THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY F THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, a public body corporate and politic of the State of Florida created pursuant to Part III,
Chapter 163, Florida Statutes (the "Agency") and BETTY BELCHER BOUKNIGHT, an
individual (the "Applicant") (collectively, the Agency and the Applicant are the "Parties").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Parties entered into that certain Residential Exterior Improvement Grant
Agreement dated January 9, 2025 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, a change in contractors has become necessary leading to increased costs for
the exterior improvements project; and
WHEREAS, the Parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the total grant
funding up to an amount not to exceed $7,600.00.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained
herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and receipt whereof being
hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows:
1. Recitals. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are incorporated herein and made
a part of this First Amendment.
2. Amended Grant Amount. The Agreement and its exhibits are hereby amended to reflect that
the Grant Funds have been increased to an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Six Hundred
Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($7,600.00). This amount includes the Monetary Contribution for
which payment of by the Applicant has been waived due to completion of the requisite number
of community service hours.
3. In the event of conflict or ambiguity between the terms and provisions of this First Amendment
and the Agreement, the term and provisions of this First Amendment shall control to the extent
of any such conflict or ambiguity.
4. All sections of the Agreement not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this First Amendment on the date
and year first written above.
