The design is inspired by colorful fruits and the trees that they belong to. The inten- tion is to create a visual story where a diverse community comes together to celebrate, bringing fruits, singing, playing music and eating. Each planter is decorated with a different color the and fruit such as: watermelon, avocado, papaya, orange, strawberry, lemon, pineapple,jackfruit and passion fruit. Flowers, insects and birds remind the viewer of the dependency of the pollinators because without them, fruits and vegetables wouldn't exist. The mural shows some of the fruit trees and the ecology of Clearwater which is represented by the Cypress tree and marine wildlife at the left of the mural. A couple is hugging, representing the encounter of cultures. Some people bring fruits and vegetables, others play music and a group of friends sit at a table to eat. Underneath the tree a cou- ple hugging. At the bottom of the tree there are fish and a manatee representing the marine wildlife of Florida. A roseate spoonbill is flying with the ocean as back- ground. There is a palm, banana and papaya tree as well as a pineapple plant which are fruit trees that connect the mural to the planters theme. There is a father with her daughter coming to a concert. Where a man plays a trumpet and a woman signs and plays her guitar. Three other people are bringing fruits, while a green iguana is standing on a rock representing the reptiles of Florida. Two kids are run- ning freely. Five people are eating at a red table while a cat is passing by. Six people are dancing while holding a pifiata in the shape of a star.
