DATE: July 25,2023
Natural & Propane gas supply prices have stabilized over the past three (3) month; therefore, I'm
recommending a no change to our Natural and Propane Gas Purchase Gas Adjustments (PGA) and
continuing our Contract Propane PGA at 30¢below our standard PGA.
Due to over funding, I recommend a decrease of 1 0/therm for our Energy Conservation Adjustment
(ECA) rate. In addition, I'm recommending a decrease of 2¢/therm for our Commercial Usage &
Inflation adjustment(UTA-Com)to prevent over-recovery. I recommend all other recovery items stay at
the same rate as they are projected to be adequately funded.
Additionally, I recommend we maintain our current price of$2.44/gas gallon equivalent (GGE) at
our Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Fueling Station for outside (non-city vehicles) customers, and
$2.25/GGE for our internal city fleet vehicles. These rates are sufficient to support our current fuel
and operating expenses at the station.
Therefore, we are recommending your approval of the following rates to become effective for billings
rendered on and after August 1,2023:

Attached are the updated Recovery Clause balances through June 2023, with projections through
September 2023 and FY24.
I recommend your approval of these adjustment rates so that we can get this information to Utility
Customer Service (UCS) so that they may make the appropriate adjustments in the billing formulas in
time for August 1St billings.
