9531-22ORDINANCE NO. 9531-22 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED GENERALLY NORTH OF SR 590, EAST OF US HIGHWAY 19, SOUTH OF SUNSET POINT ROAD, AND WEST OF EL TRINIDAD DRIVE EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESSES ARE 1819 DIANE DRIVE AND 2704 SOUTH DRIVE, ALL IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 33759 INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the owners of the real properties described herein and depicted on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "B" have petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the properties into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described properties are hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly: See attached Exhibit "A" for legal descriptions; (ANX2021-11016) The map attached as Exhibit "B" is hereby incorporated by reference. Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Community Development Coordinator are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and records of the City. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after adoption.
