9478-21 ORDINANCE NO. 947$-21 AN. ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL. PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE`NORTH SIDE OF GLEN OAK AVENUE N APPROXIMATELY 159 FEET EAST OF MOSS AVENUE, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 3936 GLEN OAK. AVENUE N, CLEARWATER; FL 33759 INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 1NHEREAS, the owner of the realproperty described herein and depicted on the: map attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into.the City pursuant to Section 171:944, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law.in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.: Section 1. The following described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater and the boundary lines of the.City.are redefined accordingly: .Lot 19, Block C,KAPOK TERRACE, according to the plat thereof as recorded in .Plat Book 36, Pages 14 arrd 1.5, of the Official Records of Pinellas County,.Florida; (ANX2921.-96009) The map attached as Exhibit"A" is hereby incorporated by reference. Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent with.the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby accepts the dedication of all easements, parks,.rights-of way and other dedications to the public,.which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The.City Engineer, the`City Clerk and the Community Development Coordinator are directed to include and show the property described herein upon. the official maps and records of the City.. Section 3. This ordinance shal[take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk shall file certified copies.of:this ordinance, including the map attached hereto,with the.Clerk of the Circuit Court and with.the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and.shall file a.certified copy with the Florida Department,of State within 3a days after adoption.
