ORDINANCE NO. 7853-07 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF SOUTH PROSPECT AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF WOODLAWN STREET AND SOUTH PROSPECT AVENUE, CONSISTING OF LOTS ELEVEN AND TWELVE, BLOCK C, SECOND ADDITION TO BELMONT SUBDIVISION WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1520 SOUTH PROSPECT AVENUE, FROM INSTITUTIONAL (I) TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (MDR); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property Lots 11 and 12, Block C, Second Addition To Belmont Subdivision, according to map or Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 88, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida (LUZ2007 -06003) Zonino District From: Institutional (I) To: Medium Density Residential (MDR) Section 2. The City Engineer is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 7852-07 by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to 3163.3189, Florida Statutes.
