ISSUE:
Parking Requirements for Operations having Service Bays
or Gasoline Pumps.
APPLICABLE CODE
SECTIONS: Sec. 42.34.
RULING: Facilities having service bays or gasoline pumps will be
allowed to count one parking space per each service bay
or gasol~ne pump island for the purpose of this ruling,
a gasoline pump island consists of a "pump complex"
conta~ning areas access~ble by two vehicles on each side;
the concrete "island" itself does not necessarily
constitute a s~ngle island for the purpose of calculat~ng
parklng requirements.
FUTURE ACTION:
A Land Development Code amendment establishing thlS as a
formal parking provision will be processed as a priorlty
code amendment; it will be part of the comprehensive
parking regulations revision proposed for this flscal
year.
