Pmellas County Ordmance #00-63 with regard to voluntary annexatIOn The applIcant IS
requestIng thIS annexatIon In order to receIve sanItary sewer and solId waste service from the
City It IS proposed that the property be assIgned a Future Land Use Plan desIgnatiOn of
Resldentml low (RL) and a zomng category of Low MedIUm DenSIty ResIdenttal (LMDR)

The applIcant receives water servIce from Pmellas County The property IS currently on SeptIC
and If approved samtary sewer semce Will be proVIded by the City of Clearwater and the City
has adequate capacity to serve thIS property The closest sanItary sewer lIne IS located 10 an
easement along the east Side of the parcel The applIcant has not paId the CIty'S sewer Impact
and assessment fees and IS aware of the addItIonal costs to extend City sewer servIce to thIS
property The applIcant \S aware that sewer fees must be paId pnor to second readmg of the
annexatIon ordmance

CollectIOn of sohd waste wIll be prOVIded by the CIty of Clearwater The CIty has an mterlocal
agreement WIth Pmellas County to proVIde for the dIsposal of solId waste at the County's
Resource Recovery Plant and capaCIty IS aVaIlable to serve the property
PolIce
The property IS located wIthm Pohce Dlstnct III and service WIll be admInIstered through the
dIstnct headquarters located at 2851 N McMullen Booth Road There are currently 56 patrol
officers and seven patrol sergeants aSSIgned to thIS dIstnct Commumty pohcmg servIce will be
prOVIded through the City's zone system and officers m the field The PolIce Department has
stated that It WIll be able to serve thIS property and the proposed annexatIOn WIll not adversely
affect polIce servtce and response tIme
FIre and Emergency MedIcal Services
FIre and emergency medIcal servIces WIll be proVIded to thIS property by StatIOn #48 located at
1700 North Belcher Road The FIfe Department WIll be able to serve thIS property The
proposed annexatIon wtll not adversely affect fire and EMS service and response time

residentIal manner, and to recognIze such areas as pnmanly well-sUlted for residential uses that

I have an applicant who swears she IS on the sanitary sewer system.
We have no record of an agreement to annex nor do we currently
charge here sewer fees I would like to request a "die test" to find
out for sure If she IS correct or mistaken Please set thiS up and let
me know what else you need from me. The property owner IS Aileen
