9367-20ORDINANCE NO. 9367-20 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO DESIGNATE THE LAND USE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF US HIGHWAY 19 NORTH, APPROXIMATELY 1,315 FEET NORTH OF SUNSET POINT ROAD, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESSES ARE 24323 AND 24479 US HIGHWAY 19 NORTH, ALL IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 33763, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS US 19 — CORRIDOR (US 19 C) AND PRESERVATION (P); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Future Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by designating the land use categories for the hereinafter described properties, upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, as follows: Property See attached Exhibit A for legal descriptions. Land Use Category US 19 — Corridor (US 19 C) and Preservation (P) (ANX2019-11026) The map attached as Exhibit B is hereby incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Council does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon second reading, contingent upon approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of Commissioners, where applicable, and thirty-one (31) days after the state land planning agency notifies the City of Clearwater that the plan amendment package is complete, pursuant to section 163.3184(3)(c)4, Florida Statutes.
