November 19, 1987
The City Commission, met as the Community Redevelopment Agency at the City
Hall, Thursday, November 19, 1987, at 6:02 p.m., with the following members
present:

ITEM #2 - Minutes - Commissioner Nunamaker moved to approve the minutes of
the September 17, 1987, meeting. Motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimously.
ITEM #3 - Appointment of Committee for Downtown Promotional Program
The CRA 1987-88 budget includes $100,000 for promotional activity. The
Commission, as the CRA, determined that it would be best to appoint a five
member committee to develop a plan for the promotional activity. This committee
should be made up of individuals familiar with and interested in the Downtown.
Once established the Committee is to develop ideas for a promotional
program for redevelopment of Downtown and report to the City Commission within
two months.
Commissioner Regulski moved to appoint Lee Arnold, Tommy Thompson, Dennis
Eckel, Bill Berg, and Gil Chirinos, that they elect their own chairman and
present a proposal to the Community Redevelopment Agency by 1/15/88. Motion
was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
ITEM - The Interim City Manager requested authorization to advertise for
proposals for at leat 75 residential units on the Bilgore Property. Consensus
to authorize.
