December 16, 1982
The City Commission of the City of Clearwater met in regular
at the City Hall, Thursday, December 16, 1982, at 5:00 p.m., with
following members present:

The Mayor called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was
led b Police Chief Klein. The invocation was given by Commissioner
Hatchet
ITEM #3 - troductions and Awards.
`fir. McCul .ugh of the Clearwater Tennis Club gave a presentation
honoring Bill Ro.-seau Tennis Pro, Clearwater Parks and Recreation
Department for 43 ears of service to the City.
Proclamations:
Miniature Art Month - January, 1983.
Human Rights Week - Dec- ber 13 through 19, 1982.
Employee of"the Month - Rudy Bee er, Tradesworker II, Building and

ITEM #4 - Citizens to be Heard re Item" Not on the A:enda
Robert Struchen, owner of Sunnydale M..ile Home Park, objected to
a park owner not being appointed to the Mobi. Home Park Board. Staff
will contact park owners when the next vacant occurs.
ITEM #5 - Other Commission Action.
Commissioner Berfield reported that there are still problems with
young people on the north portion of Clearwater Beach. \

Commissioner Calderbank moved that the City Commission have a Public
Hearing at 7:30 p.m. to consider amending the Community Redevelopment
Plan. Motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
