Re: Annual Per Diem Adjustment for Ross Norton Public Disaster Shelter
Sally:
Pursuant to Section 6 A of the Interlocal Agreement betweeri the City and County for the use of
the Ross Norton Recreational facility 8S a PuJ;>>lic Disaster Shelter, the City is notifying you of a
need to adjust the Per Diem rate reimbursed to the City.
The Agreement establishes a base rate of $20.00 per hour of use, with an annual true cost
adjustment of up to ten percent (10%). The Director of the Clearwater Parks and Recreation
Department has advised that an increase of four percent (4%) would represent the increase in
costs over last year.
The per diem rate for use of the Ross Norton facility as a County Public Disaster Shelter would
increase from the base rate of $20.00 per hour to a new rate of $20.80 per hour.
If you need any additional information, please let me know. I would also appreciate your
acknowledgment in writing of the County's acceptance of the increase.
