1. Call To Order
The Vice Chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. at the Main Library.
To provide continuity for research, items are in agenda order although not necessarily
discussed in that order.
2. Approval of Minutes
2.1 Approve minutes of January 8, 2019 Neighborhood and Affordable Housing Advisory
Board meeting as submitted in written summation.
Member Cutkomp moved to approve minutes of the January 8,
2019 Neighborhood & Affordable Housing Advisory Board
meeting as submitted in written summation. The motion was duly
seconded and carried unanimously.
3. Citizens to be Heard Regarding Items Not on the Agenda: None.
4. New Business Items
4.1 FY 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan Applicant Presentations.
Agency Presentations for FY (Fiscal Year) 2019/20 Annual Action Plan
Funding.
Agency presentations were made by. 1) Zach White for Homeless
Emergency Project—Adult Shelter Salary Support, 2) Zach White for
Homeless Emergency Project—Adult Shelter Rehabilitation; 3) James
Dates for WestCare GulfCoast-Florida, Inc. —A Turning Point—
Homeless Shelter, 4) Kathleen Russell for Pinellas Opportunity Council,
Inc. — CHORE Services Program; 5) Janet Hooper for Safety Harbor
Neighborhood Family Center— Bridge the Gap, 6) Tara Scalise for
Directions for Living Going Green - Eco-Friendly Restrooms, 7) Tara
Scalise for Directions For Living Healing Through Housing - Homeless
Case Management, 8) Belinda Becton—McAbee for RCS Pinellas, Inc. -

5. Old Business Item: None.
6. Director's Report
Economic Development & Housing Assistant Director Chuck Lane said
Haley Crum had resigned from the board. TRC (Technical Review
Committee) members were present and would review applications during
the next few weeks. Allocation amounts were not known at this time. The
City received 11 applications for Public Service funds; last year's total
allocation was $111,000. Housing Pool and Homebuyer Education
applicants were not required to make presentations.
Mr. Lane requested members to attend the important May 14, 2019
NAHAB (Neighborhood & Affordable Housing Advisory Board) meeting
when the board will be asked to recommend approval of TRC and staff
recommendations for FY 2019/20 Annual Action Plan funding.
Mr. Lane reported the Advisory Board Appreciation Dinner was on April 30,
2019 at the Sheraton Sand Key at 5:30 p.m.
