- The City Commission �� the Ci�y of Clearwater met in

permissian to erect a si�n at t�e top of ��he hill on Cleveland `
Street, directing traf'Pic to the Beach. The cost of the sign ;
wi11 k�e assumed by the Clearwater Beach Association. �,�oved by '
Tti4r. Baker, seconded by Ttir, Dempsey and unanimously carried th2.t '

Comrr�iss.;.on if there tivas any possible ehance of getting the �
streets fixed running East from P:;anc[alay Boulevard as some �
of thers are in a dargerous condition� and was assured by the �
City �,*anager that these streets will be taken care of in the '�

near future. r;,r, Vlitter also asked Gvhat would be done about �
police protection at the Beach and proposed that one polieeman ` �
be assigned �o this territor;*. The Citgl;7anager advised him �
that a schedule is 3aing worked out for patrol of the Beach
every half hour. ;

asked ii' th� policemen ,,auld not stop the nev�sbo�T� across the r
street and the boys at I�ane's Dairy from makin� so much noise. !
Mr. Baicer assured P�ir. *.2cE�,ea�y that he would speak to I�Trv Lane t
about the milk boys and request them ta be more quiet. 2,+Ir,
�.4cEneany stated that he.had askeci his tennants in the Iiquor
store to vacate on account of' the noise they were s�aking
betiveen )the hours of 11:00 P. P�I, and 2:30 A. M.

. to the Gity deeding the Hi�h S�hool Band ttivo lots for the

IrIanager be authorized to execute a deed on lots in I��avajo Park
and Avondale for the sum of ;� 25Q.00.

T�ae City ?47anager stated that the Belleair Coxnmissioners
would like to renew their con�ract with Clearwa�ter with
reference to Police patrol on a twelve months bssis. This
was referred to the Cit� PrIanaaer �o wos°k out a schedule of
patrol and report back at the next Commi:ssion meetingo
ltioved by 1�r. Dempsey, seconded by Mra Grice and
unanimously carried that deed to part oi Zot 23 of Padgett4s
ystatPs Subdivision be exeouted to C. D. P�2oreland as drawn.

carried that the offer of �" 500.00 makde by J. S. Cribbs,

The City Attorney stated that r/Ir, Brinnby was requesting

to check the work being dane and when completed as per contract
the lease he assignsd to N?r. Armston.

principally to the�e being only one entrance to Clear�,vater
� Beach Causeway, and,
FiHERuAS, the City of Clearwater has acquired a
right-of-way across the Kingston Pronerty for the construet-
ion of a street or boulevard connecting Pierce Street �vith
Cleveland Street at the c:auseway en'trance and is now preparing
to open said street or boulevard for public use,
