The Mayor called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. at City Hall for the purpose of canvassing the returns from the July 11, 2000 referendum election.
ITEM #2 - Three certificates of testing presented to Commission for Acceptance
The City Clerk presented three (3) certificates of testing of the automatic tabulating equipment dated as follows:
July 06, 2000 – 9:04 a.m.
July 11, 2000 – 6:39 p.m.
July 11, 2000 – 9:45 p.m.
Commissioner Clark moved to accept the three certificates of testing. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.

ITEM #5 - Motion to accept City Clerk’s report and declare reported results official
Commissioner Johnson moved to accept the City Clerk's report and declare the reported results official. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
ITEM #6 - Motion to accept Referendum Questions No. 2 and 3 approved
Commissioner Johnson moved to accept Referendum Questions No. 2 and 3 as approved. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
