City of Clearwater Emergency Operations Data Center at Fire Station #48 Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Proposal PROJECT SUMMARY Emergency Operations Data Center at Fire Station #48 1700 North Belcher Road Clearwater, Florida Construction of a stand-alone 3,339 gross square foot, one-story, cast -in-place concrete, masonry and structural stud truss building on the site of City of Clearwater Fire Station 48 located at 1700 North Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida. The new building and connecting structure are to be constructed in accordance with the 2017, 6th Edition of the Florida Building Code, the Fire Prevention, 5th Edition Code and in accordance with Construction Documents enumerated herein as prepared by Alex Plisko Architecture, PA, AIA. Project includes minimal selective demolition in the existing Training Building to create a new corridor that will connect it to the new building. Site work is limited to removal of asphalt, preparation of the building pad and restoration of areas disturbed by construction activities. New facility to have metal stud/gypsum board walls, stucco exterior, standing seam roof, access flooring, acoustical ceilings, stand- alone HVAC system, clean agent fire suppression system, power, lighting and emergency generator. If GMP Exceeds $150,000: Per Section III, Article 5.1 of the Contract Specifications, the contractor shall provide to the public entity a certified copy of the recorded bond. Once the City receives a certified copy of the recorded bond, a Notice to Proceed may be issued. Include the attached bond form as well as the Power of Attorney. For work performed, invoices shall be submitted to the City of Clearwater, Engineering Department, Attn: Veronica Josef, Senior Staff Assistant, P.O. Box 4748, Clearwater, Florida, 33758-4748.
