AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9134-18 WHICH
ANNEXED CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED ON
THE SOUTH SIDE OF COUNTRY LANE WEST AND
COUNTRY LANE EAST, APPROXIMATELY 525 FEET
SOUTH OF SR 590 AND 1/2 MILE EAST OF US HIGHWAY 19
NORTH, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESSES ARE 1500
COUNTRY LANE WEST AND 1505 COUNTRY LANE EAST,
ALL IN CLEARWATER, FLORIDA 33759, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITIONS, TO ACCOUNT FOR THE PROPER LEGAL
DESCRIPTIONS OF THE PROPERTIES; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real properties described herein and depicted on the
map attached hereto as Exhibit B have petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the
property into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has
complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance;
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following -described properties are hereby annexed into the City of
Clearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
See attached Exhibit A for Legal Descriptions;

The map attached as Exhibit B is hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be
consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby
accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the
public, which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed
property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning and Development Director
are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the official maps and
records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance amends and revises Ordinance No. 9134-18 to account
for the proper legal descriptions of the properties.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption and will be
effective nunc pro tunc to May 3, 2018. The City Clerk shall file certified copies of this
ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with
the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and
shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
adoption.
