When I first started the City back in "1981" this subdivision was all unincorporated Pinellas County. Overtime, half the properties have annexed for our sanitary sewer service and/or solid waste collection. I believe the street signs were installed Pinellas County but unfortunately they used the wrong spelling. Ellen with all that said, during my research I found the following: 1) Pinellas County Property Appraiser's Office has been very consistent with the "site addresses" on their web site for all properties as "Stevensons Drive". If the property is "owner occupied", the mailing addresses for these properties don't match the "site address" as shown with the ID you have copied me below and found attached. The correct street name for these properties is not Stevensons Drive. 2) The street was platted as "Stevenson's Drive" on the "Stevenson's Heights" plat. This spelling of the street name agrees with our spelling on our atlases. 3) The street signs are inconsistent. The street sign at North Betty Lane has "Stevenson Drive". The street sign at Carol Drive also has "Stevenson Drive". The street sign at Stockton Drive has a different street name "Stevensons Drive" (no apostrophe like the plat). The street name at Claire Drive has "Stevenson Drive". They should all be' t�e'tvenson' Dr=ire". 4) Our building permit program "Accela" is consistent and has "Stevenson's Drive" as the street name for these parcels. So we are good and have no changes on the City's side. I believe my friends with Pinellas County can unconfuse you/me and the Pope! I don't know if the City is responsible now for the street signs of not. Someone should have the street signs changed to reflect the correct spelling.
