AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY
BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF SR 590, APPROXIMATELY 150 FEET
WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF SR 590 AND OWEN
DRIVE, CONSISTING OF A PORTION OF SECTION 8,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST IN METES AND
BOUNDS 22/01, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS
2667 SR 590, FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
(MDR) TO OFFICE (0); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this
ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the
City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby
rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows:

Section 2. The City Engineer is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in
accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to
the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 7817-07 by the Pinellas
County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of
Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local
Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant
to 9163.3189, Florida Statutes.

That part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
Pinellas County Florida, being more particularly described as follows:-Begin at the Northwest
corner of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 8 and run thence South 89 deg.
40'09"East along the section line 842.32 feet for a Point of Beginning; thence South 2 deg. 56'27"
West 211.46 feet more or less along the Easterly boundary of property of Clearwater Associates,
Limited }>artnership as described in O. R. Book 5356, Page 2, Pinellas County Records; thence South
89 deg. 40'09"East along a Northerly boundary of said Clearwater Associates property, a distance of
206.00 feet more or less to a point on the West boundary of Orange Blossom Subdivision recorded in
Plat Book 51, Page 70, Pinellas County records; thence North 2 deg. 56'27"E, along said West
boundary, a distance of 211.46 feet more or less to a point on the North boundary of said Section 8;
