STANDARDS FOR ANNEXATION In determining whether to annex a property, the City shall consider the extent to which: ❑ The proposed annexation will impact public services (e.g., water, sewer, police, parks, etc.). ❑ The proposed annexation is consistent with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. ❑ The proposed annexation requires a change in the future land use and zoning classifications assigned to the property as well as the jurisdiction for said change. ❑ Existing or proposed development is consistent with City regulations. ❑ Terms of a proposed Annexation Agreement, if any, promotes the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan.
