The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 3:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. He outlined the procedures and advised any aggrieved party may appeal a final
administrative order of the Municipal Code Enforcement Board to the Circuit Court of Pinellas County. Any such appeal must be filed within thirty (30) days of the execution of the order
to be appealed. He noted that Florida Statute 286.0105 requires any party appealing a decision of this Board to have a record of the proceedings to support such an appeal.

A. Case 23-96 (Cont’d from 4/24, 5/22)

In a memo dated 6/26/96, Vicki Niemiller, City Inspector, withdrew Case 23-96 as the property is now in compliance.
B. Case 25-96 (Cont’d from 4/24, 5/22)

The City Attorney requested that Case 25-96 be continued as it has been referred to the Engineering Department for further review. Concern was expressed this case has been continued
twice previously.
Ms. Dougall-Sides indicated the City Engineer can approve parking on grass lots in certain situations. The Central Permitting Department believes some additional approvals may be required.
A meeting will be scheduled with all parties concerned.
Member Henegar moved to continue Case 25-96 to the meeting of July 24, 1996. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
C. Case 26-96

Tom Pearson, attorney retained by the alleged violator, requested a continuance. He indicated Mr. Castro is willing to work to correct the landscape problem but is currently out of
town. Discussion ensued and questions were raised regarding this case and the Board Attorney reminded the Board they were getting into the facts of the case and a request had been made
for a continuance.
Member Henegar moved to continue Case 26-96 to the meeting of July 24, 1996. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.

The Board Secretary advised the Board that Mr. Cadwell was out of the country until October and had requested that his request to reduce fine be continued until the October meeting.
