In order to provide continuity for research, the items will be listed in agenda order although not necessarily discussed in that order.
The meeting was called to order by the Vice-Chair at 3:00 p.m. in the Commission Meeting Room in City Hall. She outlined the procedures and advised any aggrieved party may appeal a
final administrative order of the Municipal Code Enforcement Board to the Circuit Court of Pinellas County. Any such appeal must be filed within thirty (30) days of the execution of
the order to be appealed. She noted that Florida Statute 286.0105 requires any party appealing a decision of this Board to have a record of the proceedings to support such an appeal.
It was explained that individuals are expected to conduct themselves in a calm and civil manner, or they will be removed from the room with the hearing to go forward without them.

In a memo dated April 25, 1995, Code Inspector Janice King withdrew Case 06-95, stating a conditional use was granted by the Planning and Zoning Board.

In a memo dated April 26, 1995, Fire Inspector Karl Whittleton requested a continuance. He stated an accepted contract has been submitted and removal of the underground fuel tank is
expected on May 1, 1995. He indicated, upon compliance, the case will be withdrawn.
Member Rogers moved to continue Case 17-95 to the next regularly scheduled meeting. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.

Member Kerwin moved to accept the Affidavit of Compliance for Case 19-94. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.
Case 25-94 - Request to Address Board Regarding Fine

Member Riley noted the previous requests to address the Board were not specific as to the reason. Attorney Salzman explained correspondence from the representative has been submitted
for Board review. He suggested the Board consider the mitigating circumstances as outlined in the letter and make their determination whether or not to allow the violator to come before
the Board regarding a reduction of the fine.
Member Kerwin moved, concerning Case 25-94, to accept the request to address the Board regarding the fine. The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously.

Member Rogers moved to accept the minutes of February 22 and April 12, 1995, in accordance with copies submitted to each member in writing. The motion was duly seconded and carried
unanimously.
