WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standard
Buillding Code, the Building Official deternuned that certain real properiy described herein and the
buitding situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and
detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and did not properly comply
with the requirements of said Code, and found that an emergency existed which, in his opinion,
involved danger to human life and health, and ordered the demolition of the building; and
WE-IEREAS, the City of Clea�water has caused the demolition of the building, and the cost of
such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property;
now, therefore,

OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Building Off'icial having ordered the demolition of the building situated on the
following described property:
A tract of land lying in the Northwest Quarier of Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East and
lying East of Bayshore Boulevard, described :� follows; From the center of said 5ection 16, run N
0°37'03" � along the north-south center line, of sa,�d Section 16 a distance of 205.00 feet for a P.O.B.;
and run thence N�9°27'S6" W a distance �f 109.�17 feet to a point on the easterly County occupied
right-of-v✓ay line ofBayshore Boulevard �County Road No. 30) run thence along said easterly County
accupied right-of-way line, on a curve to the left having a radius of 533.91', arc 204.87', chord 203,62',
chord beann� N 27°23'S4" E, thence S 73°35'40" E 18,00 feet to a point on said north-south center
line; thence S 00°37'03" W along said no,tth-south center line a distance of 176,72 feet to the P.O.B.

artd the City of Clearwatet having now completed said work, the City Commission does hereby assess
and charge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary costs
incurred as follows: � �-

Se�tion 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indeb4edness against the property for the
amaunt af assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall consYitute a lien prior to all other liens
except the liea for taxes. Said ce�tificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City with interest at a
raYe of eibht percent (8%) per annutn.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notice of Lien in the amount of the
assessment against said property, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida.
Seciion 4. This resolu6on shall take effect immediately upon ado�tion.
