ADDITION TO ENGHLJRST SUBDIVISION, CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, gIAVING A POST OFFICE ADDRESS OF 1310

FLpRIDA, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN,
1N THE AMOUNT OF $178.00 FOR THE COSTS INCURRED BY

WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 47 of the Clearwater Code of Ordinances and the Standard
Building Code, the Building Official deternuned that certain real property described herein and the
buiiding situated thereon were unsafe, unsanitary, unfit for human habitation, and dangerous and
detrimental to the health, safety, and general welfare of the community, and did not compiy with the
requirements of said Code before expenses were incurred; and
WI�REAS, the City of Clearv✓ater and the owner have caused the abatement of the unsafe
building, and the City's costs of such work should now be assessed as a lien on behalf of the City of
�� Clearwater against the prope�ty; now, there�ore, �
BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMIvIISSION OF Ti� CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLOItIDA:
Section 1. The Building C3fficial hav�ng ordered tihe abatement of the unsafe buiiding situated
on the following described property:
Portion of Lots 39 and 40, First Addition to Enghurst Subdivision
(Parcel Number 09/2�/15/25938/000/4390).

and the City oiClearwater having now completed said work, the City Commission does hereby assess
and cha�•ge a lien on behalf of the City of Clearwater against the property for the necessary costs
incurred as follows:

(See Attachmene "A")
Section 2. As soon as practicable, a Certificate of Indebtedness against the property for the
amount of assessment shall be prepared, which certificate shall constitute a lien prior to all other liens
except the lien for taxes. Said certificate, when issued, shall be payable to the City with interest at a
rate oFeight peccent (8%) per annum.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare a Notiee of Lien in the amount of the
assessment against said property, and to record the same in the Public Records of Pinellas County,
]Florida.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoptian.
